There are three ways to get involved with the DC CU Foundation: volunteer, join the foundation’s board, or make a donation.
There are two ways you can volunteer with us:
- Volunteer year round at one of our financial literacy events.
- Help working families with their tax preparation.
We will provide training for both of these volunteer opportunities! Volunteers for tax preparation must become IRS-certified tax preparers.
If you have experience and/or interest in community development, social justice, or financial inclusion, you could be a great candidate for our Board! We are always seeking volunteers with experience in some or all of the following:
- Serving as a board member for a nonprofit or not-for-profit organization
- Fundraising
- Marketing
- And financial wellness education
Want to support our efforts? As a nonprofit Foundation, all of our donations go back to supporting our mission.
Let us know you’re interested in making a donation and we’ll follow up with you about next steps.
