2019 Annual Meeting
This year's meeting was a big success!
We celebrated DC Credit Union’s 65th anniversary this year at the DC Housing Finance Agency located at 815 Florida Ave., NW Washington, DC 20009. Each year, we take the meeting to different locales around the city to ensure all members have the opportunity to participate. Thank you to our Board of Directors, our members, and our generous sponsors. Everyone who took part helped to make our Annual Meeting a wonderful opportunity to learn about our ABC’ for promoting economic opportunity, contribute, and have fun.

We provided an overview of DC Credit Union’s financial performance over the past fiscal year and shared The ABCs of Co-op Impact to begin evaluating how our work advances our Credit Union’s mission to improve the social and economic conditions of minority and low-income populations in, and surrounding, DC.
Contribute
Everyone who attended had the opportunity to share their needs, help elect or re-elect Board Members, and provide input on the future of DC Credit Union.

Joseph Goosby
Joseph Goosby has been a member of the DC Credit Union since the 1970’s and has served in a volunteer leadership capacity for the past 30 years – first, as a member of the Credit Committee and now, as member of the Board of Directors where he currently serves as the Board Treasurer. His interest in seeking re-election was to carry on his service to assist the membership and the DC community gain access to financial products and education.
Mr. Goosby is retired from DC Office of Tax and Revenue (formerly the Department of Finance and Revenue) where he was employed for 33 years as Tax Auditor. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Grambling State University.
